Every three minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer. Last year, President George W. Bush proclaimed October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. He urged everyone to continue his or her strong commitment to preventing and treating breast cancer, and to finding a cure for the disease.
